Cowboy Game/ 200 Word RPG
u are a cowboy. find three friends. together you are cowboys. yee-haw. each take a colt revolver. you’ve each got six bullets. Use 1d6 to represent your remaining bullets. the west is lonely. are you a bad man? pick one person to be leader of your outlaw gang. Leader chooses action — rob train, bank, or rustle cattle. leader rolls 3d6 for train, bank 2d6, cattle 1d6. The gang must beat this number. each player secretly decides how many bullets to use. if the total number of bullets used is higher than the result then you succeed. the rewards: Train $4, Bank $3, Cattle Rustle $2. the leader chooses how to distribute the loot. if you fail your leader dies. you can then spend your dollars. send money home or buy bullets. you can’t have more than six bullets. then leader picks a new action. If you ever disagree you can meet your friend at high noon. the player who uses the most bullets wins and the loser dies. if equal bullets are used both die. If leader dies pick new one. you win game when you’re the last man standing. it’s lonely to be cowboy.
An attempt at a "200 word RPG" that I made in an evening. I have yet to run this game yet am supremely confident it will work great. Specifically though I was frustrated how many 200 word RPGs just didn't use dice
